Q: Vignette will give you a kid who was born at 26 weeks’ gestation who was
in ICU on oxygen + now is 4 months old and is on home oxygen. They will
say ECG shows right-axis deviation +/- CXR shows increased pulmonary
vascularity. Dx?
this reflects RVH (ensuing cor pulmonale) from pulmonary hypertension caused by the bronchopulmonary dysplasia.
