Indication: reduce rate of heart attack and stroke
SE: avoid NSAIDs unless instructed due to increased bleeding risk; seek medical attention for unusual or prolonged bleeding or bruising; avoid abrupt discontinuation
warfarin side effects and indication
Indication: to prevent blood clots; atrial fibrillation

-keep dietary vitamin K (green leafy vegetables) and alcohol consumption consistent
-many drug interactions; discuss new meds with RPh
