1.Intervention technologies
A patient has the right to receive complete and current information concerning diagnosis treatment and prognosis. The doctor must reveal any information that is relevant to the condition.
- Informed consent
No form of treatment can be administered unless the patient has consented to it. If the patient is unable to currently consent, a close family member will answer for them.
Autonomy 3
Autonomy refers to the capability to think, decide, and act on one’s own free initiative. Doctors must listen to adult patients. Request concerning treatment, even if medically wrong
- Beneficence
Beneference implies consideration of the patient’s pain And quality of life. Sometimes, it’s best to not interfere with a patience condition if it decreases their quality of life.
- Non-maleficence
All treatments come with a risk, and the doctor must consider the possibility of harm. In some situations, the outcome of no treatment is worse than the actual treatment.
- Justice
Is what the patient is asking for fair. Will it lead to a burden to others? While your primary duty is to your patient, others will be affected by your decision. There may be tension between benefits, autonomy, and justice.

Resources are limited. You cannot cure everybody until priorities must be set
8 Confidentiality
Physicians should not release personal medical info without patient’s consent. However, in some cases, when the condition of a patient may harm others, this info can be released. Ex a A partner of a patient with a sexually transmitted disease
