How do you differentiate angina from an MI?

A
  • central crushing chest pain, pain radiating to left arm, shoulder and neck, SOB
  • angina symptoms are similar to that of MI, but brought on by exertion
  • if symptoms do not subside within 10-15 minutes this is concerning
