- Ntg works via vasodilation
Stable has stimulus, unstable happens whenever
Myocardial infarction (MI)
MONA- morphine, oxygen, nitroglycerine, aspirin
LAD
Sudden occlusion of major coronary vessel, usually left anterior descending artery
Hyperventilation
Do NOT give oxygen
Sit upright
Brown paper bag
Seizure
Grand mla = dilation (phenytoin)
Status epilepticus = Valium (diazepam)
IV or IM benzo
Stroke
TIA- transient ischemic accident
CVA- cerebrovascular accident, stroke
Hyponatremia= low blood sodium
FAST
Anaphylactic shock
AEIOU
Albuterol Epinephrine (0.3mg 1:1000) IM antihistamine Oxygen You call 911

Garlic, ginger, ginkgo, ginseng
INR
Warfarin/Coumadin, INR= 2-3
