Function of the GLANDS (male)
produce fluids called semen that provide sperm cells with nutrients

sperm passes through here to be mixed with fluids produced by glands before being passed to urethra for EJACULATION

tube running down centre of penis, carries urine or semen.
What is the function of the ring of muscle in the URETHRA?
prevents urine + semen from mixing

passes urine out of body from bladder
allows semen to pass into vagina of woman during sexual intercourse.
Function of the OVIDUCT
connects ovary to uterus
lined with cilliated cells to push released ovum down it (fertilisation occurs here)

contains ova (female gametes) which will mature + develop when hormones are released
FUNCTION OF UTERUS
muscular bag with soft lining where fertilised egg (zygote) is implanted to develop into foetus
Function of the CERVIX
ring of muscle at lower end of uterus
keeps developing foetus in place during pregnancy

Function of the VAGINA
muscular tuve leading to inside of woman body
