What are angels in Islam?
A
- They are God’s first creation made by LIGHT
- They communicate God’s message to humans and are Allah’s servants
- They have no sin and can therefore enter paradise and God’s presence
- they either have no freewill or limited freewill
- Angel Jibril is referred to the one who revealed the Qur’an to the Prophet

- They are known as the ‘noble recorders’
- They are responsible for noting down all the good and bad deeds
- They sit one on each shoulder and note down deeds to be read on the day of judgement
