Although they are not the only beliefs they are some of the main beliefs in Sunni Islam

Tawhid

Answer 2

• Oneness of God
• The fact that Islam is a monotheistic religion
• It is the declaration of faith and it is seen in the Shahadah

“There is no God except Allah and Muhammad is his last messenger.”

Malikah

Answer 3

• This is the belief in angels
• They interact with human life to bring God’s divine message
• Each Muslim has two guardian angels

Kutub

Answer 4

• This is where God has revealed his message to humans
• This tells Muslims how to live their lives
• Qur’an and Hadith

Question 5

Risalah

Answer 5

• This is the belief in Prophets
• God has spoken through these prophets who are selected people
• Muhammad is the greatest prophet; he is also the seal

Question 6

Akhirah

Answer 6

• This is the belief in the final judgement
• That this life is to prepare for eternal life
• There will be a time of judgement where Muslims will have to account for their lives

Al - Qadr

• God is responsible for everything
• He has set out a divine destiny for everything
• All things are written down
• This DOES NOT take away freewill
