Most common is lactase deficiency=>milk intolerance
Dx of Disaccharidase deficiency?
⊕ for lactase deficiency if administration of lactose produces symptoms and serum glucose rises
malabsorption of fat and fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) as well as vitamin B12 in CF patients?
Pancreatic insufficiency
With Pancreatic Insuff., what will happen to your neutral fat content in stool? D-xylose test?
Increased neutral stool
d-xylose absorption test: normal urinary
excretion in pancreatic insufficiency
