Explain, assistance protection?

A

Assistance protection is laid when you have a failed train.
The assistance is laid in the direction any assisting train will come
3 dets 300mtrs away from the train. Each det 20 mtrs apart.
Driver to display a red flag or light

Assistance protection allows the driver to leave 3 dets inside a tunnel.
