Q

How does the lymphatic system work?

A
  1. The lymphatic system drains the interstitial fluid that leaks into the tissues to feed cells back into the bloodstream using the lymph vessels. The blood will also carry the waste from the cells.
  2. The lymph made by the lymph vessels are then filtered using the lymph nodes by being filled with white blood cells to attack viruses and infections using Phagocytosis.
  3. the system then collects fluid from the intestines that contain fat and transports it back into the bloodstream using the villi in in the intestine.
