Causes: Inflammatory or mechanical, infection, neoplasm, thrombosis, allergic reactions, trauma, surgery, tight clothing, women who had mastectomies
Prevention: Avoid tight clothing

Causes: Bacterial invasion into lymph vessels

Risks: Previous malignancy, chemotherapy, radiation, family history, immunuosuppression, exposure to Epstein-Barr Virus

Risks: Preadolescence, increasing age, history of malignancy, radiation, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, HIV, HTLV, EBV, hepatitis C, immunosppression, connective tissue disorders

Causes: ABO and RH incompatible blood, histamine and serotonin released from mast cells and platelets
