Lower Limb Nerves Flashcards
what is the lumbar plexus
predominantly made up of nerve fibres coming out of the spinal chord at various levels
what are the levels part of the lumbar plexus
L1, L2, L3, L4, L5 and some T12
how does each levels work for sending nerves
generally each level contributes to multiple peripheral nerves such as L2 goes to genitofemoral, obturator and lateral cutaneous of thigh
what does damage to nerves lead to
loss of sensation in certain areas of muscles
