Buttermilk fried chicken thighs with sour cream and a honey mustard mayonnaise and sliced and marinated coleslaw on the side
The freshness and sharp acidity of Chenin will offer a lovely contrast with the rich and fatty texture of the fried chicken thighs and sour cream while matching the acidity of the sour cream, the mustard and the pickled coleslaw. The hint of sweetness of the honey will bring out the honey character of the wine.
