Highball glass
Filled with ice
1 1/2 ounces Campari
1 1/2 ounces sweet vermouth
Top with the soda water and stir gently to combine
Garnish: orange twist

Chill cocktail glass
Pour into shaker
2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
1/4 ounce creme de violette
3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Add ice & shake

Caipirinha
In a rocks glass:
1 lime, cut into wedges
2 teaspoons sugar
Muddle
Fill with ice
2 ounces cachaça
Stir briefly

Champagne Cocktail
Place a sugar cube on a bar spoon and douse with 2 to 4 dashes Angostura bitters
Drop the cube into a chilled Champagne flute
Fill with chilled Champagne (or other sparkling wine)

2 ounces vodka
1/4 ounce Chambord black raspberry liqueur
1 3/4 ounces pineapple juice

Fine-strain into chilled cocktail glass

Add crushed ice and shake lightly (about 3 seconds)

1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 ounce agave syrup
Add ice & shake
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice or into chilled coupe

Mint Julep
Ask if the guest would like Angostura bitters for garnish along with the mint sprig
Ask if the guest would prefer a Julep cup or rocks glass
In preferred glass add
8 mint leaves
1/4 ounce simple syrup
Lightly muddle the mint leaves in the simple syrup
Add to cup or glass
2 ounces bourbon
Pack the glass tightly with crushed ice
Stir until the cup is frosted on the outside
Top with more crushed ice to form an ice dome
Garnish: mint sprig
Garnish: Angostura bitters (optional)
Mojito
Into a shaker, add
3 mint leaves
1/2 ounce simple syrup
Lightly muddle the mint with the simple syrup
Then add to shaker
2 ounces white rum
3/4 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
Add ice & give it a brief shake
Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice
Top with the club soda
Garnish: mint sprig

Moscow Mule
Fill a Moscow Mule mug (or highball glass) with ice
Add to it
2 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
Top with the ginger beer
Garnish: lime wheel
Negroni
Add to a mixing glass
1 ounce gin
1 ounce Campari
1 ounce sweet vermouth
Add ice and stir until well-chilled
Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube
Garnish: orange peel
Old Fashioned
Ask if the guest would prefer bourbon, rye whiskey or a blended whisky
Add to a mixing glass
1 teaspoon sugar
3 dashes Angostura bitters
1 teaspoon water
Stir until the sugar is nearly dissolved
Then add
2 ounces bourbon (or rye whiskey, if preferred)
Add ice & stir until well-chilled
Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube
Express the oil of an orange twist over the glass
Then drop into the glass to garnish
Pimm’s Cup
Into a highball glass over ice, add
2 ounces Pimm’s No. 1
1/2 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Top with ginger ale
Stir briefly to combine
Garnish: cucumber slice

Pisco Sour
Ask if served up in a chilled coupe (if so chill coupe glass) or in a rocks glass over fresh ice
Add to shaker
2 ounces pisco
1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 ounce simple syrup
1 egg white
Dry-shake (without ice) vigorously
Add ice and shake again until well-chilled
Strain into a chilled coupe glass (Alternatively, you can strain it into a rocks glass over fresh ice)
Garnish with 3 to 5 drops of Angostura bitters
Rusty Nail
Add into a mixing glass
1 1/2 ounces scotch
3/4 ounce Drambuie
Add ice & stir until well-chilled
Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube
Sazerac
Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe, discarding any excess, and set aside
Into a mixing glass, add
1 sugar cube
1/2 teaspoon cold water
4 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
Muddle the sugar cube, water and the Peychaud’s bitters
Then add
2 1/2 ounces rye whiskey
Add ice and stir 15–20 seconds, until well-chilled
Strain into the prepared glass (no ice, but glass should’ve been chilled in advance)
Twist the lemon peel over the drink’s surface to express the peel’s oils, then garnish with the peel
Sea Breeze
Into a highball glass with ice, add
1 1/2 ounces vodka
3 ounces cranberry juice
1 1/2 ounces grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed
Stir
Garnish: lime wheel
Sidecar
Ask the guest if they would like their sidecar with a sugar rim (if so, coat the rim of a coupe glass with sugar) and set aside
Add to a shaker
1 1/2 ounces cognac
3/4 ounce orange liqueur (such as Cointreau)
3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Add ice and shake until well-chilled
Strain into the prepared glass (no ice)

Add to a Collins glass
2 ounces London dry gin
1 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 ounce simple syrup
Fill with ice
Top with club soda

Prepare chilled cocktail glass
Add to shaker
3 ounces gin
1 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce Lillet blanc aperitif
Add ice & shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds, until ice cold
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
Express the oils from a lemon twist over the drink, rub the twist along the rim of the glass and drop it into the cocktail
Vieux Carré
Ask if served up in a chilled cocktail glass (if so chill cocktail glass) or in a rocks glass over fresh ice
Ask the guest if they prefer a maraschino cherry or a lemon twist for garnish
Add into a mixing glass
3/4 ounce George Dickel rye whiskey
3/4 ounce cognac
3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
2 teaspoons Benedictine liqueur
4 dashes Dale DeGroff’s pimento aromatic bitters
Add ice & stir until well-chilled
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice or a chilled cocktail glass
Garnish: maraschino cherry or lemon twist (guest’s preference)
Whiskey Sour
Ask if served up in a chilled coupe glass (if so chill coupe glass) or in a rocks glass over fresh ice
Ask if they would prefer a vegan emulsifier/foamer or traditional egg white or neither
To a shaker, add
2 ounces bourbon
3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 ounce simple syrup
1/2 ounce egg white (optional)
Dry-shake for 30 seconds without ice
Add ice and shake again for 15–20 seconds, until well-chilled
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice, or into a coupe without ice
Garnish with 3–4 drops of Angostura bitters
White Russian
To a rocks glass filled with ice, add
2 ounces vodka
1 ounce Kahlúa
Top with 1 splash heavy cream
