ADVANTAGES:
-High extraneous and confounding variable control so internal reliability
-Easily replicable as standardised procedure
DISADVANTAGES:
-Low ecological validity as P’s not in natural scenario, lowers validity
-P’s may show artificial behaviour as they know they’re in an experiment
