Perfect happiness can only be achieved after death, living eternally, outside of time and in the presence of God.
How can we replace knowledge and faith in the beatific vision
Due to all doubts of God’s existence will vanish as we see him face to face
what is a strength of Aquinas
That afterlife is beyond space and time. the beatific vision avoids the issues of protestant view on heaven. We don’t need to worry about endless days in heaven with all that time to fill. beatific vision is a single simultaneity and is one eternal presence of god
What the beatific vision view on the soul a weakness
When the soul is in a timeless presence with god, how could this be the same person who died (Also conflicts the idea of resurrection)
What’s the difference between happiness different between life and afterlife
Life happiness is temporary and afterlife happiness is the happiness we get with being eternal with God

that there will be wealth around that people can even afford to walk on it. Heaven is also described as a place with no suffering, pain or death. Sins washed away and people can lobe purified and live in peace
Bernard Williams said what about being alive and out pleasure
That park of pleasure of loving is making choices about what we do with our limited existence and setting targets or objectives even if we don’t achieve them. If we had time to do everything then pleasure is gone

Is it describing heaven or hell
Hell
What is hell often referred to as in the bible
described figuratively as a rubbish dump, where the useless people are thrown

What did Karl Rahner say about purgatory
That should not be understood as a place of pain but a metaphor for the souls greater awareness of consequences of sin in the time between death and the last judgement.
How can people still feel pain in purgatory
That pain is self inflicted
Why is protestants idea of purgatory
They reject it due to not being supported in the bible and contradicts the idea of salvation. The ideas of purgatory are wrong because they suggest Jesus did not complete the final act of salvation on the cross
