- reduces conductivity of re-entry pathways
- local anesthetic for IO infusions

- Cardiac Arrest with V-Fib or pulseless V-Tach
- Wide complex Tachycardia with pulse
- Conscious IO pain management

Absolute Contraindications
A
- Bradycardia
-Allergy

Precautions & Side Effects
A
- High doses can cause CNS stimulation, seizures, depression, respiratory failure
- Higher chance of toxicity in elderly, CHF, and liver failure patients
