become.
why are the cabnet changes seen as unimportant when looking at the new liberal Tory party?
the individuals had had all held important positions in Liverpool’s
government before 1822, during the ‘reactionary’ phase so how could they now be responsible for the sudden change.
why must economic circumstance be considered when looking at the change in the Tory party?
a period of economic growth/more comfortable economic climate allowed for economic reforms. To add to this, there was much less unrest during this period of Liverpool’s ministry, which allowed the government to bring about reform that would have been more difficult previously.
