Advantages of the EU:

A

-Freedom of movement, cross borders easily
-war is less likely to break out between countries
-eu citizens can get free healthcare across member countries
-better jobs and workers protection
-the EU helped to improve local environments
-follow policies by the EU, even if you don’t agree
-lower prices of goods and services

Disadvantages of the EU:

A

-Easy to cross borders, crime happens easily across countries
-overcrowding from immigration
-free healthcare for citizens across member countries
-bigger member countries tend to benefit more
-follow policies set by EU even if you don’t agree
-countries don’t all get on

A

Referendum to leave or stay in 2016, majority wanted to leave, the country left the EU until 31st January 2020

UK can create it’s own rules, make changes gradual to increase the publics understanding
