What are NGOs?

A

Non governmental organisations are a non profit, voluntary citizen groups, run by people with common interests. Provide humanitarian services aiming to help people in difficult situations (e.g fleeing from conflict or civil war, natural disasters or this that are stuck in poverty) they are funded through donations and general public not government. They remain neutral.
