Proportional voting compared to first past the post example?
Votes:
Conservatives : 2,000
Labour : 1,500
Liberal Democrats: 600
In a first past the post system, conservatives would win. But in a proportional voting system, Labour and Lib dems would form a coalition and take power.
What is the invisible primary and what happens in it?
When a potential presidential candidate tests the waters to see if they have a chance of winning if they run
e.g. through opinion polls
