A

The representative might go against the people e.g. in 2016, Chris Bryant (Labour) voted against leaving the EU but 60% of his constituents were for it

Populist, poor policy politicians who do not do what they say they will get elected too often

Voter turnout is low suggesting potentially voters don’t like the system
