With a Multi-Touch trackpad or Magic Mouse, users can perform useful actions with various gestures.

Spotlight finds items on your Mac and the internet. The keyboard shortcut to access Spotlight is Command-Space bar.
Control Center provides quick access to macOS features, such as focus mode, or adjusts settings, such as screen brightness
Siri helps with everyday tasks and gives quick answers.
Notification Center allows users to view recent notifications and access widgets for useful information like the weather.
The Dock is located at the bottom of the screen and provides quick access to apps, files and folders, and the Trash. While the Dock can be customized, the Trash and the Finder cannot be removed.
The Finder is located in the Dock and allows users to navigate files and folders.
