When did the Israelites complain to Aaron that they need a God to worship while they were on Exodus?
Moses went up to Mount Sinai to converse with god. It took a long time for him to come down to the people. Then they asked for a god (an idol).
What did Aaron do upon their demand?
Aaron asked the people to take off their gold earrings from their ears of their wives, sons and daughters and bring them to him. He then melted the gold and made it into a mold and cast the image of a calf. After seeing this the people said that the golden calf with their God that brought them out of slavery. When Aaron made an altar in front of the calf and ask the people to have a festival the next morning.

The next morning after Aaron had asked for a festival, the people rose early in the morning and offered burnt offerings and sacrifices of well-being and people sat down to eat and drink and rose to revel (enjoying by singing and dancing after drinking).

Moses came down from Mount Sinai with a tablets in his hand in which the ten commandments were written. He felt angry and threw the tablets at the foot of the mountain and broke it.
How did God guide the Israelites on their Exodus from Egypt?
During the daytime an angel of God was ahead of them guiding their way as a pillar of cloud. During night time they were guided by a blazing fire pillar.
When pharaoh changed his mind and came to catch the Israelites how did God protect them?
God told Moses to stretch his hand at his staff on the Red Sea which was impossible to cross that was making it easy for the Egyptian soldiers to catch them. Then when Moses did that the sea parted to two sides making a water wall and they saw dry land to escape. While the chariots of pharaoh and the soldiers came, the sea became back to normal and golfing all the enemies.
How did God feed them when the people complained about food and wish to go back to slavery?
God gave the manna and quail from heaven to eat in the desert.

Why did Aaron create the golden calf?
Israelites complain to Aaron that Moses had been gone for too long and no news from him meant that no one knew what had happened to him. They demanded that they needed a God to worship. Therefore, Aaron made the golden calf because he wanted to save himself from criticism in the absence of Moses the leader.
