A
The Injection Well pumps high chloride water into the ground.

A
The Booster pump pushes water down the well.

A
The Feed pump pushes water from the ponds to the booster pump.

- What is the Annulus? What should the normal Annulus pressure run?
A
The Annulus is the nitrogen blanket on the well piping.
Pressure should be 600-650 PSI and 100 PSI DP between the outer casing and the booster pump discharge.

Pond 17 level must be at least 45 inches Feed pump discharge open Bypass closed Breaker racked in Oil level Two filters must be valved in Specific gravity meter valved in Remote operation selected Booster pump breaker racked in Booster pump in Remote Booster pump suction valve open Booster pump discharge valve open Oil level Power to control valve Vent open at booster pump 600-650 PSI of nitrogen and valved in Well head valved in to booster pump Check nitrogen controller Start Feed pump Start Booster pump Close vent after verifying water flow Check Annulus pressure

Check the discharge pressure Verify 100 PSI DP on casing pressure and pump discharge Check for water leaks Check heat/vibration and oil on booster Control valve operational Nitrogen pressure is maintaining Check for leaks in well house Check for leaks in filter house Verify 2 filters are in service Flow on pH meter Feed pump heat/vibration Feed pump oil level Seal leak off isn’t excessive

- What would you check on the diesel tank at the Injection well?
A
Verify nitrogen pressure is at least 600-650 PSI.

- If the Nitrogen pressure on the diesel tank is low, what would you do? Explain how you would do this? What should the pressure on the tank be?
A
Increase the nitrogen pressure to 600-650 PSI
If bottle is below 600 PSI, connect a new bottle.
Verify the regulator is set to 650 PSI
