Lesson 13 Flashcards

1
Q

Too, also, as well…

A

-도

In Korean, however, -도 is treated as a particle and ALWAYS follows the noun or pronoun.

Depending on the location of the particle -도 the meaning of the entire sentence can change.

-도 with pronouns and nouns to mean
“[noun], too” or “[pronoun] also.” When translated the too or also is always in the end

저는도 sounds strange, so in order to use -도 ,you must get rid of the 는 which is known as the topic marking particle
