If you put a cuff too low and you put a stethoscope under it then your going to hear it…its going to be scratchy…its going to make some muffled sounds and you can miss the blood pressure so just tuck it a little bit higher for better stethoscope placement and they are just about under the cuff…you should not be not be touching that cuff at all…the stethoscope should not be touching the cuff
