Neutrophils- first line of defense, phagocytic

What are the 3 granulated WBCs? and their main features
A
- Neutrophils- most common. Phagocytic
- Eosinophils- bilobar nucleus, allergies and asthma. combat parasitic infections
- Basophils- S shaped nucleus, inflammatory response, histamine and heparin

What are the two types of agranulocytes? and their main features
A
- Lymphocytes- smallest wbc, T cells, B cells and NK cells
- Monocytes- largest WBC kidney shaped nucleus. Go to tissue and turn into macrophages
