A
  1. Neutrophils- most common. Phagocytic
  2. Eosinophils- bilobar nucleus, allergies and asthma. combat parasitic infections
  3. Basophils- S shaped nucleus, inflammatory response, histamine and heparin

What are the two types of agranulocytes? and their main features

A
  1. Lymphocytes- smallest wbc, T cells, B cells and NK cells
  2. Monocytes- largest WBC kidney shaped nucleus. Go to tissue and turn into macrophages
