women tend to look for achievement, job success, athletic ability, intellectuality etc

their lists r usually short n focus on youthfulness n attractiveness
why do we prefer the letters of our own name? what is this an example of?
bc its familiar and thus attractive to us

pat was running against a popular guy in elections
he never showed his face, did interviews, etc, only thing on the news was “3 cheers for Pat Milligan” over and over again
he won by a landslide bc of exposure and familiarity

because they are more familiar
why is symmetry important for attraction?
bc it means you have good genes, so your kids would have good genes too , which attracts people
why is waist-hip ratio attractive?
because of child rearing abilities
what is the matching phenomenon?
the tendency for men and women to choose partners who are a good match to their attractiveness and other traits
what is the physical attractiveness stereotype
the myth of beauty is that beautiful people are seen as good and smart
when ovulating, what are women attracted to?
guys with big muscles lol
this was seen in the study with the t-shirt and sweat
do opposites attract?
they do but they don’t stay together.
