Q

Distal regulatory elements steps

A
  1. Activators bind to enhancers, causing bend
  2. Activators work with co-activators which causes chromatin remodeling via SWI/SNF complex and histone trans-acetylase
  3. Activators bind to Mediator complex then attracts the enhancer to the core promoter, causing creation of RNA pol and gen TF’s at promoter site
