What is communication
The process by which information is exchanged and understood by two or more people, usually with the intent to motivate or influence behaviour.
Sometimes we can communicate and its not effective

encode - select signals to compose message
channel - the carrier of communication
decode - receiver translate
feedback - two way
the communication process and noise ?
Noise in communication is anything that interferes with the interpretation of a message.
Communication channels
channel richness. IMAGE
Ability to handle multiple cues simultaneously.
Ability to facilitate rapid, two-way feedback.
Ability to establish a personal focus.
Formal Communication Channel
A formal communication channel transmits information such as the goals, policies and procedures of an organization. Messages in this type of communication channel follow a chain of command.
