vivergo fuels hull
vivergo bioethanol fuel plant in hull was opened in 2014 with government investment, in 2017 they thought about shutting down due to changes in government policy. Now it has officially shut down bc of the change in policy.
they gambled that government policy was going to change from 5% renewable fuel energy to 10% in cars but they didn’t
Why is ethanol in fuel?
It increases the burn efficiency of petrol, it’s an oxidising element to reduce carbon monoxide amounts..
