What is meant by the classification of abnormal behavior
It’s a means of establishing order for dealing with nature causes and treatment of abnormal behavior and purpose is to provide distinct categories and indicators for different behavior patterns
Define obsession
Recurrent and persistent thoughts urges images experienced as intrusive and unwanted
Define compulsion
Repetitive behaviours or mental acts that an individual feels driven to perform in response to an obsession or according to rules that must be applied rigidly
What is meant by principle diagnosis
Is the diagnosis for which individual was referred to for treatment of the reason why the individual came for an appointment

What is reliability and the types thereof
Reliability is the degree to which a procedure test or classification yields the same results repeatedly under same circumstances
Test retest reliability determine whether a measure yields same result when given at 2 different points in time.
Internal consistency reliability requires various parts of a test yield similar or consistent results
Interrater reliability refers to how consistent test results are when scored by different administrator
What is validity and the types thereof
Validity is the extent to which a test procedure performs the function it was designed for.
Predictive validity is how well a test predict or forecast a person’s behavior response or performance
Construct validity is how well a test relates to the characteristics of disorder in question
Content validity is how well a test measures what’s its intended to measure.
