Someone who has an influence in helping someone to achieve their goals.
What is the difference between an emergent and a prescribed leader?
Emergent- appointed from within the group.
Prescribed- appointed from outside the group.

Autocratic- all decisions are made by them and they dictate
Democratic- listen to all performers in the group, person oriented
Laissez faire- leader has little input
Different levels of the model?
Autocratic most favourable:
-clear task
- strong leader
- high ability
Democratic moderately favourable:
-some support
-some harmony
-some clarity
Autocratic least favourable:
-unclear task
-hostile group
-weak leader
