Intimidating witnesses or victims

- a person who knowingly and maliciously prevents or dissuades a wit or vict. from attending or testifying at trial
- or attempts to prevent them from making a report or arrest
- happens before someone goes to court

Escape Custody

Person who has been remanded by a magistrate to the custody of LE and attempt to or does escape
- or person who has been lawfully arrested and who should reasonably know they are arrested and attempt/does escape
*if escape or attempt is by force or violence AND causes SBI to the PO it’s a Felony
Escape State Prison

Prisonee escapes or attempts to escape
- while being transferred
- under custody of prison officials
- at work outside or away from prison
- not returning from temp release is escape
- always a felony no matter what
Escape County Jail
Felony
Prisoner who has been arrested and booked, or charged with a misdemeanor
- committed as an inebriate
- is confined to county jail, prison, or industrial farm, or on temp leave who attempts to escape
Rescue
Any person who rescues or attempts to or aids in rescue from prison, road camp, jail or prison when lawfully in custody
Lynching
Taking by means of a riot of any person from lawful custody of any Po
-riot: an unlawful assembly of 2 or more people who disturb the peace by use of force
