The 10 LOAC Standards
- Fight only enemy combatants
- Do not harm enemies who surrender
- Do not kill or torture enemy prisoners
- Collect and care for the wounded. Friendly or foe.
- Do not attack medical personnel, facilities, or equipment.
- Destroy no more than what the mission requires
- Treat all civilians humanely
- Do not steal and respect private property and possessions
- Do your best not to violate LOAC
- Report all violations of LOAC to superiors
