What is justice
The fair and equal treatment for all induviduals.
What was Plato’s philosophical views of justice
He saw justice as harmony between different sectors of society
What was Aristotle’s philosophical views of justice
Every individuals right to freedom of expression but also protection from extreme views
What is distributive justice
The fair allocation of all the benefits
What is utilitarianism
How useful an action is. If it brings happiness it has more value however if it decreases happiness the less value it holds.
What is social justice
This concept demands the fair and equal rights of all individuals, from the richest to the poorest.
What is corrective justice
When the state corrects a mistake which has occurred either between two individuals or the state and an individual
What is the criminal cases review commission and why is it useful
Makes sure each individual is treated just and shows sometimes the law can make unjust decisions which need to be fixed
