unable to speak more than a few meaningless syllables; know what they’re trying to say and aware they are getting it wrong - Wernicke’s aphasia
deficits in language comprehensions; make up words that do not exist; often unaware they have a speech or comprehension deficit

the localisation of functions in the brain, commonly attributed to its left hemisphere and right hemisphere.
typically, the left hemisphere shows greater involvement in language while the right shows greater involvement in emotional processing
