What is the RER equation?
RER = CO2 out / O2 in.
How does the Respiratory Exchange Ratio affect Lactate Accumulation?
The closer your RER is to 1.00, the greater the chance of lactate.
How does the Rate of Removal affect Lactate Accumulation?
The faster you can remove lactic acid, the less lactate will build up.
How does the Muscle Fibre Type affect Lactate Accumulation?
The more slow twitch fibres, the less lactate accumulated.
