7
Q

What is a Heart Attack?

A

A ‘heart attack’ is when the atheroma gets so big it blocks the whole lumen, or a piece of it breaks off and blocks the vessel downstream. Blood can’t get beyond that part, heart gets damaged or dies.

Q

How can Heart Disease result in a Heart Attack?

A

Q

What causes Arteriosclerosis?

A

Inactivity.

17
Q

How can they be cured?

A

Heart disease, heart attack, stroke and arteriosclerosis can all be cured/prevented via excess.

18
Q

How does Exercise help?

A

Decreases LDL - less plaque and atheroma’s build up. arteries are kept clear.
Increases HDL - more LDL/plaque/atheroma is removed. arteries are kept clear.
Improves health of the blood vessels less likely to hemorrhage. can stretch to cope under stress. prevents arteriosclerosis.
