A

total 26 bones. 24 of which are vertebrae

Cervical- top 7 vertebrae has round holes on sides for arteries

Thoracic- 12 vertebrae slightly less thick than Lumbar no arteries

Lumbar- 5 vertebrae very thick back points strait out

Sacral- Massive bottom part
