What is the Harmonised System of Survey and Certification (HSSC)?
The IMO adopted the HSSC to deal with issues caused regarding survey dates and intervals between surveys and to cover international maritime institutions. (SOLAS and LOAD LINE Survey).
Name seven types of HSSC surveys.
-Initial Survey.
-Annual Survey.
-Periodical Survey.
-Intermediate Survey.
-Inspection of the outside of the ships bottom.
-Renewal Survey.
-Additional Survey.
