- Joint line pain or tenderness (B med and lat)
- Locking
- Clicking/tenderness/JL pain with:
twisting, bending, pivoting, deep flexion, squatting, or rising from a squat

What is the cause of MCL injury?
A
Forced valgus

Signs on MCL injury?(3)
A
- Pain and point tenderness over the MCL
- Minimal localized effusion over the MCL
(max effusion is ACL or PCL) - Pain or opening upon valgus stress test at 30dg flexion (type 2 or 3)

Patellofemoral syndrome signs?
A
- Usually bilateral
- Exacerbated by activities that increase friction in PF joint
- Underlying mechanical contributors
(pes planus, > Q angle, positive patellar tilt) - Tender on patellar facet palpation
- Crepitis on compression grind testing

A
A disease of the skeletally immature athlete

A
Tender tibial tuberacle
Prominent tibial tuberacle

Jumpers knee (patellar tendinitis) signs?
A
Pain at patellar tendon
PT tender on palpation
Hx of repetitive motion of the knee, jumping, running etc.
