What are the problems that can lead to kidney failure?

A

kidneys cant filtrate - blood will have increased - urea, ions
- this can be fatal

kidney cant reabsorb

  • blood will have decreased - urea, ions, proteins, RBC’s, water
  • fluid built up in tissues bc we cant get rid of water
