in scotland the rubout was 67% with 62% voting to remain . the national result was to leave the EU whittled to increased Scottish nationalism

first member Nicola sturgeon said that scltand would have a second referendum without the UKs approval . this was denied by the UK Supreme Court

- in its covid response scotland had levels 1-4 where England had 5 levels
- scotland has a separate education and exam system with free tutuion fees for Scottish citizens at Scottish universities
