what is the basic premis of karma
karma follows the concept that actions gnerate a karmic consequence that will impact an indevidual either in this life or in the next- karma is what drives our existance within samsara and dicates our future rebirth into any one of the six realms of rebirth
what is the main factor that influencees what karma is generated
The main factor effecting whether one recieves postaive or negative karma comes down to intention and not actually the act itself.
There are two types of intention either skillfull or unskillfull
in pali terms this is
kusula- postative intention, skillfull
akasula- negative intention, not skilful
what role do the three posons of the mind play in karma
the threepoisons of the mind (greed,hatred, igmorance) play a big role in the generation of karma. As if one acts upon influence of anyone one of the three poisons of the mind then they would generate negative karma
how do karmic seeds actually work
karma isn’t as simple as what goes around comes around. Every action generates a karmic seed that will bare fruit in the form of consequence. It can take multiple lives for the seeds to bare karmic fruit or it could bare fruit in the same lifetime that the karmic seed was planted
