Anicca means impermance

everything in extisatance is impermant and ever changing
what are the three types of change within anicca
Gross change - This is the type of change that is obvious to us, such as changes in the weather or changes in season
subtil change - This type of change is not obervable with the naked eye but it is still happening, such as molecular or partical changes
momentary change - This is the change from moment to moment
why is the concept of anicca so important within Buddhisum
Anicca is nessesary to avoid Dukkha. As if one ignors or forgets the principle of anicca they may believe something has permance leading to attachment and tanha
how could one link the story of Skinny Gotami to the principles of anicca
Skinny Gotami well represents the importance of Anicca as Skinny Gotami has to come to the understanding that life is impermanent
what is the concept of anatta
Anatta is the concept of no self or no essence
what is the Buddhist concept of anatta a rejection of
the hindu idea of an Atman / soul
what does the Buddha think will happen if someone does not follow anatta
The Buddha believes that if one identifes to closly with the ‘i’ or ‘me’ then they will become self obsessed
