Jura Red Grapes
: Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir
Jura White Grapes
Chardonnay and Savagnin
Vin jaune
made exclusively from Savagnin and is a dry, oxidized, unfortified wine and is aged
a minimum of six years before bottling. The flavor and profile can resemble sherry, without
the higher alcohol and will develop a layer of flor, similar to Sherry
Vin de paille
(straw wine)
is a wine made from grapes left out to dry for a minimum of six weeks. This wine will be high in alcohol, sweet, and is aged a minimum of three years before release
