    increased motility= watery stool
    decreased motility= constipation

    increased ESR & CRP
  3. r/t colon cancer= colonoscopy

A

laxative (BOSS)
Bulk forming-i.e psyllium (metemucil)
Osmotic laxative-Lactulose (duphalac)
stimulating laxative- Bisacodyl (dulcolax)
senna (senokot)
Stool Softeners- Docusate

if the px is not responsive in BOSS then proceed to LUBIPROSTONE
